  • At this stage of their development the toddlers are exposed to a wider environment but still with all the support and continuity of care and facilities.
  • Children have a minimum of 1>4 ratio and activities are in place to encourage a “caring and sharing” environment.
  • Self help skills encouraged
  • Potty training is encouraged
  • Separate sleep room is provided
  • Formative and summarative assessments are carried out to monitor development
  • Wider exposure to outdoor facilities in the extensive play areas
  • Group play to encourage language and social skills.
  • Activities prepared to maximise learning, understanding and enjoyment.
  • Transitional periods put in place to allow smooth access in to Pre-School room
